A Neighbor Note for Friday Night
Friday is also LSU graduation, and our neighbor Doe's Eat Place is fully booked with dinner reservations. Their parking lot is reserved for their guests all evening, so please don't park there when you move your vehicle after drop-off.
Side streets around the neighborhood and open parking lots along Government are available, especially before the event kicks off. Doe's is a great neighbor and we want to keep it that way.
Arrival + Setup
Pull up to the front of the building on Government Street. We share the front parking lot with Red Stick Reads, and it officially clears for vendor setup at 4:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, that's fine, just expect customer parking to be in the way until then.
We'll have a couple of team members from Red Stick Reads and BRMS directing traffic on-site.
After You Drop Off
Best bets are the side streets around the neighborhood and open parking lots along Government. You'll find a spot. Everyone always does. Get to the lot at 4, unload, then move your vehicle.
Reminder: Doe's lot is off limits Friday night (see above).
What We Provide
We provide limited power and extension cords routed to each tent. If your business needs more than a basic light and card reader (like, you're running heat or compressors), reply to the logistics email so we can plan for it.
What to Bring
- Your 10x10 tent (with weights! the lot is open and a light breeze will flip an unweighted tent)
- Tables, chairs, your display
- Inventory + change/card reader
- Lighting for after sundown around 7:45 PM (white stringed lights to plug in to the power access we provide for each tent)
- A great attitude for an awesome night :)
The Band Line-Up
We've got a full schedule running at our stage all night, with BRMS students and groups performing back to back. Plenty of music to keep your customers around longer.

Check back Thursday or Friday morning for any last-minute update. Hot Art Cool Nights is a rain-or-shine event managed by Mid City Merchants.
Vendor Map & Load-In Times
Yellow tents (Spots 9–18) arrive at 4:00 PM. Blue tents (Spots 1–8 and 19–24) arrive at 4:30 PM.
This is your goal, not a requirement. If you can't make your time and tents are blocking the lot, park on the street and we'll help you load in from there.
Day-Of Contact
A separate day-of essentials email goes out Thursday afternoon with the final reminders. After that, the night speaks for itself.
